AUSTIN, Texas (December 30, 2024) – Doofus Corporation, a Delaware corporation (“Doofus” or the “Corporation”), is pleased to announce the appointment of William Charles Fritchie as an independent director to its Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2025. This addition aligns with the Corporation’s mission to strengthen governance and enhance value creation for its stakeholders.
William holds a bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Rutgers Business School. He earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in 2015 and worked in public accounting for several years at Ernst & Young, PwC, and Deloitte. As a subject matter expert in US GAAP and IFRS, he has advised multinational companies on a range of technical accounting and audit matters. William is also a proud United States Army veteran, having served with the 1/94th Field Artillery Battalion in Baumholder, Germany.
William brings a wealth of expertise to the Doofus Board, with a strong background in accounting, auditing, and tax strategies. His diverse experiences and abilities will enrich the Board’s decision-making and oversight capabilities.
