ZURICH, Switzerland (January 1, 2020) – Doofus Corporation today announced the appointments of Hubert Baumgartner, Johannes (Johan) Christoffel Joubert and Timothy (Tim) James O’Donnell as independent directors to its board of directors. Their appointments are effective immediately.
Hubert has international experience in internal audit and public accounting, tax consulting, fraud investigation and prevention, and risk advisory services for both Swiss and multinational organizations, including some of the world’s leading companies. He specializes in ethics and integrity, compliance, fraud and risk management, and forensic investigations.
He has an MSc in Business Administration from the University of Wales and an MSc in Finance from the Lorange Institute of Business Zurich, and holds the following licenses and certifications: Chartered Surveyor in White-Collar Crime (Federal Association of German Experts and Specialists) and Certified Fraud Examiner (Association of Certified Fraud Examiner).
Hubert is a branch representative of Doofus’ Zurich branch office and the managing director of Exantum Advisory Services AG which provides essential consulting services to Doofus and its Zurich branch office.
Johan is a finance professional with international experience across varied business environments. He specializes in accounting, audit, finance, financial reporting, management accounting, planning, analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
He has a BCom (Honors) in accounting, audit, tax and management accounting from the University of Pretoria and holds the following licenses and certifications: Associate Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA UK), Chartered Accountant (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario) and Chartered Accountant (South African Institute of Chartered Accountants).
Tim has a background in civil engineering and business administration that provides him with a wide range of experience and skills across various business disciplines.
He has a National Diploma in Civil Engineering from Cape Peninsula University of Technology and an MBA from Strathclyde Business School.
